Signing Up for a Meal Plan
Students have until Tuesday, August 14th to sign up for a Fall 2012 Meal Plan online. Sign up by logging into MyCharleston and clicking the My Housing/Dining icon at the top of the screen.
Meal plans begin Friday, August 17th at dinner.
Dining plans make your life simpler! A magnetic stripe on the back of your student ID card works with our computer system to identify you as a dining plan member. Dining plans are easy, economical and help you acclimate to your busy campus lifestyle. Plans come in lots of shapes and sizes. You can find one that’s right for you. Guaranteed Meals (Meals per Week Plans)
Know where your next meal is coming from. The guaranteed meals let you enjoy all-you-care-to-eat dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner at Liberty St. Fresh Food Company and City Bistro. Each time you eat in our dining location, one meal is subtracted from the guaranteed meals on your plan. You may choose from a varying number of guaranteed meals per week or per semester. Choose the number of meals based on your eating habits and campus schedule. On this plan, your meals are budgeted into ‘per week sets’. You may use up to 3 meals per day, one per meal period. A great value! Block Meals provide a number of all-you-care-to-eat meals at Liberty St. Fresh Food Company and City Bistro per semester. Simply present your dining card at the restaurant entrance and your meal is deducted from the semester meal balance in your account. You can eat as many meals as you wish in a given day; there are no meal period restrictions with Block Plans. You can also swipe a friend with your Block Plan!
Pay as you go. Our meal plans include Dining Dollars, which can be used in all of our dining locations on campus. They work like bank debit cards. Use your Dining Dollars for beverages, snacks or full meals for yourself and your friends. Each time you make a purchase, the total is subtracted from the balance in your account. Plus, Dining Dollars can be added to your card at any time (minimum purchase of $50) and roll over from year to year.
Meal Plan Changes
Meal plan changes can be made in the Dining Services office located in Craig Hall. All changes MUST be made by Monday, August 27th by 5pm.
